4-Stoke Engine Mods

Where do we start? There are so many things to do to a 4-stroke it can be mind boggling to say the least. The area that I like to start with is valve durability.  Most everyone knows that the intake valves are a big problem on most bikes. Once you start adjusting  them, they are already gone. The solution is to install Faction MX valves and springs. They are made of stainless steel so they don't wear like the soft titanium valves do. Some people think the heavier valves will cause valve float, they do not. The valves do weigh slightly more than OEM, but the difference is made up with reduced weight in the springs and retainers, yielding the same valve train mass as stock, with much less wear. This valve set-up has been race tested to 200+ hours with no adjustments!! From there we can cut the valve seat, oversize if more airflow is needed. We offer porting and polishing for some nice top-end gains. High compression pistons offer power across the board. Camshafts are available for any power level desired. From stump pulling torque to screaming 2-stroke like top-end, or anywhere in between. We have experienced most all of the weak points in these machines. Give us a call so we can discuss the weak points on your particular machine and how to fix them, not just put a band-aid on it. We now have the equipment to do our own machine work. That means super quick turn around time. It also means that we have better quality control. If I dont  like how something spec's out, I can change it to exactly what I want, instead of praying the machine shop can competantly do as I ask. Moto-Tech can handle all of your 4-stroke needs, from routine maintenance, to full blue-printing and balancing. Just give us a call, we'll hook you up!!

2-Stroke Engine Mods

At Moto-Tech we take a different approach to building  or modifying your engine. Before we ever put a wrench on your engine there has to be a blueprint of sorts drawn up. You tell us what you would like out of your engine, then we build it. We use computer software to reverse engineer your porting  spec's. We input what your stock spec's are, then what we would like to achieve, and the program then produces the magic numbers. And yes, they are very accurate. It may sound ridiculous, but it is possible to have an engine produce more bottom end, more midrange, and more top end power than stock. This can even be done running on pump fuel!! Now you may think that all this would sacrifice durability, not so. In some cases we can improve maintenance times, over stock. And of course, if you are willing to run race  fuel, and/or use shorter maintenance intervals, then incredible amounts of torque and horsepower can be found. We can produce whatever power or torque numbers (within reason) that will suit your riding style.
